You’ll work across our AI-powered Shopify app ecosystem used by thousands of merchants worldwide to bring ambitious ideas to life.
This isn’t an entry-level seat. It’s for someone who has built and shipped Shopify apps before, understands how to work with Shopify’s API limits, billing systems, webhooks, and Deliver Apps integration pipelines, and wants to help take an AI-powered product from great to world-class.
Your Role
Full-Stack Developer (Shopify Apps + AI SaaS)
As a Full-Stack Developer at Skopiq, you’ll own end-to-end development of features across our Shopify and AI platform stack, from merchant onboarding, AI workflows, and data pipelines to background jobs and dashboard UX.
You’ll work closely with our founder-engineering team to evolve a growing SaaS product that integrates Shopify, OpenAI, and Deliver Apps to power the next generation of intelligent e-commerce tools.
We move fast here. You’ll need to think independently, ship production-ready code, and take full responsibility for what you build on both the client and server side.
Ideal Candidate
• Proven experience building and deploying Shopify apps (custom or public) using the Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, and Webhooks.
• Understanding of Shopify OAuth, billing (subscriptions or one-time charges), App Bridge, and Deliver Apps (Shopify Delivery API integrations).
• Strong skills in TypeScript, React, and Node.js (Express).
• Experience with PostgreSQL using Drizzle ORM or Prisma, schema migrations, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with AI integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic) for content generation, RAG pipelines, and image workflows.
• Strong knowledge of queue systems (BullMQ/Redis) for background tasks, retries, and webhook handling.
• Comfortable implementing rate-limit management, idempotency, and secure webhook verification.
• Confident with Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), error tracking (Langfuse/Sentry), and modern deployment pipelines.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with pride in writing maintainable, testable, and elegant code.
• Excellent English communication and autonomy, able to operate like an owner, not just an implementer.

Location
Timezone alignment matters. We operate on UK and EU hours (GMT to GMT+2).
We’re a fully remote team, but collaboration speed is key. You can work from anywhere as long as you overlap at least four hours daily with the core team.
Communication
You’re clear, direct, and collaborative.
You can take technical complexity and make it understandable across teams, from design to product and marketing.
We don’t chase people. We expect initiative, ownership, and open communication.
Experience
You’ve already built Shopify apps or Deliver-connected systems and shipped them to real users.
You’ve worked with scaling SaaS apps and understand the difference between building fast and building right.
Experience with AI or automation tools is a strong bonus.
What You’ll Do
001 — Design, build, and scale full-stack Shopify applications that integrate seamlessly with our AI backend and Deliver Apps infrastructure.
002 — Implement and maintain secure webhook processing, rate-limit handling, and job queues for high-volume Shopify data.
003 — Develop new AI-powered features that help merchants automate product content, visuals, and store optimization.
004 — Collaborate with design and marketing teams to ship conversion-focused UX that feels fast, modern, and effortless.
005 — Ensure reliability, uptime, and performance through clean code, clear tests, and bulletproof deployments.
